Waste & Minerals Planning

We can help with your planning applications for your manufacturing or waste facility. We produce all of the surveys required by your local authority or county council. Most waste and minerals facilities are regulated by county councils not local authorities. We have a record of helping waste businesses with waste and minerals planning application to the county council.

Our waste and minerals planning applications are bespoke because of the nature of the application and the business type. The success of your application will depend heavily on your address and postcode & the specific environmental impacts that affect your particular location. If you are located in or close to a SSSI therefore, you are far more likely to have to address concerns over impacts on the environment rather than if you are situated in an industrial estate.

We have a good record therefore with local authorities and county councils on waste & minerals planning. The process will certainly be lengthy therefore and it is not unusual for a planning application for a waste management operation to take a year or two before it is granted. Because of this the time spent before the application can be lengthy therefore due to co-ordination of sub contractor surveys. As a result it would not be unusual to spend 6 months to a year before the application is submitted. Consequently you must be prepared for this and similarly the post application time taken by the County Council. Furthermore, appeal time and dealing with objections can add yet more time.

Paul was very knowledgeable and talked us through an environmental permit application for an Anaerobic Digestion project. The permit was issued on the basis of the work carried out by Paul, without further questions or clarifications. We will definitely be using Paul again as the project progresses.
