Client Requirements
We helped Global Parts UK with an end of life vehicles – ELV permit application for the dismantling and de-pollution of ELVs. The standard rules application required a fire prevention plan and site survey. Advice was given on a surface water system to ensure that no surface water was allowed to enter or have an impact on the local watercourse.
The fire prevention plan was also required along with noise and vibration surveys, dust management plans and a site condition report.

What We Delivered
The permit application which was required for supplying car parts online. Negotiation with the Environment Agency regarding the fire prevention plan and associated surveys was relatively straight forward. A permit was finally issued with good regulatory controls in place to safeguard the environment and provide a level of improvement in infrasturcture regarding the surface water and hardstanding areas of the yard.
