ISO 14001:2015
EMS Development
ISO 14001 is the world’s most recognised environmental management system standard. It has an uptake of 300,000 companies worldwide and an uptake of 11% of that figure annually.
Most organisations realise that being certified to an EMS helps promote their profile as an organisation. It also demonstrates care about the environment and it also helps to get them on clients tender lists. In order to comply with the standard you will therefore need to produce a policy and provide a set of procedures. These will detail how you will manage environmental risk.
How we can help
We can help with environmental management system development, training and implementation of a whole or part of a management system. If you are already ISO 14001 certified we can help with internal audits, training, risk assessment and legal registers and provide consultancy support through the cycle of planning, implementation, internal auditing and reviewing common to all management systems. We have a good track record of helping companies scope and implement their management system in accordance to the standard and can also help you through the external certification process. ISO 14001 can also be implemented as part of a broader sustainability consulting programme. An EMS is an integral part of an environmental permit application.
After several failed attempts trying to deal with the EA ourselves, we eventually employed Paul to complete our ELV permit transfer from a previous site owner. His consultancy service was professional and resulted in the Environment Agency completing a successful transfer of ownership from the previous owner to us.
