Client Requirements
We helped Westfields Ltd with a standard rules environmental permit for their metal recycling business. The Westfield permit application focused around the requirements for a fire prevention plan. This showed how to prevent firewater entering the surface water system. We liaised with the Environment Agency and Wessex Water trade effluent in order to get the permit granted. The Westfield permit was issued promptly and within 8 months. This was a new start up venture on an existing business facility. The owner wanted to get into metal recycling and we advised all of the steps for a successful application.
What We Delivered

Westfields also had to obtain a scrap metal dealers licence. We also helped comply with waste returns and WAMITAB.
