Registering a waste exemption with the Environment Agency is straight forward. The conditions on a waste exemption can be limiting, such as tonnages or waste types. You can therefore work permanently under the exemption if you can also comply with all of the conditions. You may also work under an exemption whilst you wait for your environmental permit.
