An Environment Agency Fire Prevention Plan or EA FPP is required for every environmental permit application. They apply if you store or treat combustible waste. Guidance on what is required to be in the EA FPP can be found here.
An EA FPP is required during the application stage and will need to be pre-approved by the EA before your permit to operate can be granted. Paul Downing and Associates have written many FPP’s for waste companies. FPP’s are required when permits are transferred or varied.
