ESOS – Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme
The new Energy savings opportunities scheme (ESOS) will require larger organisations that have either
- 250 or more staff
- has fewer than 250 staff but has an annual turnover exceeding â‚¬50m and a balance sheet exceeding â‚¬43m
- is part of a corporate group which includes a large undertaking
to undertake mandatory energy audits and reporting on a four yearly cycle. Details of the responses to government consultation can be obtained in the link below
